Your Heroes for 2009

Hero of the Future

Everybody loves a hero, and at Cadbury we are no different.

A 'Hero of the Match' Award is presented to 15 players, selected based on their performance, from the provincial semi-finals stage through to the All-Ireland final.

The winners of the 'Cadbury Hero of the Match' awarded during the Championship are shortlisted for the overall 'Hero of the Future' award.

Last year, Colm O’Neill of Cork was the worthy winner of the 2009 ‘Hero of the Future’ award.

The Cadbury Heroes of the Future Awards is aimed at rewarding the talent of footballers who are representing their County at U21 level.

Your Hero is in Your Hands!

The 15 Heroes of the Match are uploaded onto www.cadburygaau21.com and YOU – as a member of the public are invited to vote online for your choice of 'Cadbury Hero of the Future'. So remember spread the word and get your friends involved and vote for your HERO!

Kildare senior footballer, Dermot Earley, TG4’s Michael O Domhnaill and former Dublin Manager Paul Caffery adjudicate the competition and determine who the overall winner will be, taking the public vote into consideration.

The overall Cadbury Hero of the Future Award will be presented at an Awards ceremony held in Dublin later in 2010
